Just thought I'd chime in - the geography search is a "know issue" and Dean our techie guru is still in discussions with Ning. There may have to be some (internal) corrections to make it work correctly. We haven't forgotten about it!

I have the same problems as Jennifer's, which I click BC, my profile doesn't show up on the visual map - I thought I posted this before, but haven't seen any fixes yet. Does anyone know who this inquiry should go to?

Hi Folks, the geographic directory doesn't pull up my profile when I search by city (Ottawa) or by province (Ontario). I've tried entering "ON", "ON, Ontario", and "Ontario" and none of these combinations work.  How do I get the directory to find me? I appreciate the tips, thanks! Jennifer Shepherd

Hey Canuks - the "visual map" option on this web site gives customers the chance to find VP's in the Province of their choice...

But!  alas according to the map Ontario and Quebec don't have any members BC only has a couple ....  so whats up?

cause a general search of 'Canada' brings up lots of us

I think its cause some of you have chosen to display your province in its full written out form instead of the two letter Abbreviation...

just counted how many came up on the "Canada" search = 16 and counted here 14 which is actually 13 (+ Jeannel) so we're missing 3...

I was wondering why I got the invite, being a native Californian and all...but then I saw Leslie-Ann's message!  :^D  I'm honored to be a part of this group!  (And my boyfriend wishes he was from Canada...does that count?)  ;^)

I remember when I joined IFVP at its start up and I was the one and only Canadian!  So cool to see everyone now!
